Montezuma Canyon Vineyard, UT
About 90 minutes south of Moab, Montezuma Canyon Vineyard rests in a sheltered red-rock valley shaped by ancient sandstone soils and marked by historic petroglyphs. Planted in 2007, the vineyard grows Merlot, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc, all carefully tended by hand using regenerative farming practices.

Our Land
- Montezuma Canyon Vineyard sits in a sheltered Utah valley surrounded by rugged canyon walls and ancient petroglyphs. Its sandstone soils, intense desert sunlight, and cool nights create distinctive conditions for growing wine grapes.
Our Vines
- Planted in 2007, the vineyard is home to Merlot, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc. Each variety is carefully tended to reflect the character and quiet strength of this remarkable desert site.
Our Approach
- We farm regeneratively, never spray, and tend the vines carefully by hand. Every decision begins with respect for the land, its history, and the responsibility to care for it well.
