The Palisade-based winery crafts its Riesling from fruit grown on the slopes of the Sleeping Ute Mountain at 6,000 feet above sea level. The sandy, loam soils and climatic conditions (very hot days and cool nights) mimic the best growing conditions on steep slopes along the Rhine, which results in optimal expressions of Riesling.
